HIA Environmental will be heading to Ketchikan in October to participate in the SE AK Subsistence Advisory Council meeting. The SERAC meets twice annually to discuss issues related to Federal subsistence resource management and regulation. They then advise the Federal Subsistence Board which has the ability to pass proposals into law.
If you would like us to bring something forward to the council, please let us know!
The meeting agenda and materials can be found here:

Additionally HIA has funding to bring two interested community members to the event. If you want to participate or would like to see how the Federal Subsistence Regulatory Process works, come along with us!
Travel, lodging, and per diem included.
