
Hey Hoonah youth and parents!
Are you interested in natural resource management? Do you want field work and research experience? Are you excited to do hands-on work outdoors?
If so, apply to the Training Rural Alaskan Youth Leaders & Students (TRAYLS) program! You must be 15-25 years old, drug and alcohol free, and willing to work outside in all conditions!
With the TRAYLS program, you will:
- Make $12.50 an hour
- Work throughout the summer, from May 29 — August 16 (with a mid-summer break)
- Participate in a broad range of activities including trail maintenance, traditional food harvesting, growing produce, snorkeling surveys, shellfish biomass surveys, assist researchers in their work, join Outer Coast in Sitka for a week, and more!
