December 2017 the Hoonah Stewardship council came together in effort to make progress on the Hoonah Environmental Plan. We where joined by Dennis which was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of insight on topics the environmental plan focuses on and answered a lot of the questions we had; so extremely helpful thank you Dennis. We made some progress on the environmental plan by adding more solutions to the issues that where identified by the community. The environmental plan is nearing completion and I am planning to have it in final draft form by January. This up coming week I will be adding the updates from the committee to the plan then will continue to polish this draft till completion.
What we did:
- Added solutions to draft plan
- Discussed next steps in the environmental planning process
- Discussed time of the next Hoonah Stewardship Council meeting
